Does anyone have any recommendations for a flat tianium bar to be used with bar ends. Anything around 3 degree 23 inch works fine for me

Aluminum and carbon make me nervous....

I recently investigated this myself. The least expensive I found was Airborne. Spicer has supposedly lighter ones for a little more. Titec has some too, but for much more. Needless to say, all of these places have websites.

    I Have a ...

Seven Cycles flat bar I custom ordered. Its 23.5" with an 8 degree bend. I always liked the bend of a riser, but preferred flat bars. I recently put a Jones H-Bar on my SS and no longer use the Seven. If you have any interest in it, let me know. I think I paid $105 for the bar.

... and if we just ...

    Thanks for the replies.

I used to have a titec, but I think it needs B.E.R.TS and I cannot find them anywhere...

    Yeah,

The Seven was something I was interested in as they were custom. So I guessed, or hoped, I could use it with bar ends.... Did you try bar ends on it? Either way I guess I would give you $50 if you shipped it to me.... Take paypal?

    I did indeed...

use barends. I have found that the Control Tech Stumpies work with virtually anything. I believe they are one of the brands that Easton recommends. I appreciate the bid, but its worth more than $50 - shipping to me. I think you'd be happy with Ti though, absolutely no worries about cracking. I was always leary, especially in the winter during the short time I rode Carbon. Ti also does a great job of easing the trail chatter.

I've been using aTitec for some time with a variety of bar ends without BERTS and never had a problem.

    haggling on the internet....

It's $100 new. It pains me to give more than half-price for used stuff....

But, I guess in the interests of a deal I would split the difference. $65 shipped be Ok?

If not I guess I will treat myslef to a new one for my birthday.

    I don't mean to be...

difficult, but I'm not actively looking to sell it. I'd ship it out for $75. Give them a call, I think you'll be happy with them. I almost actually shelled out $350 for ont of those bling, bling custom Ti stems, but then came to my senses. When i was shopping for my 40th B'Day gift from the wifey, I had it down to the Seven Duo or the Moots Smoothie. Ended up with the Moots, but spent a lot of time talking to the Seven guys while researching and they were great with info and answers to my questions. One of these days may have to do a 29'er and it'll likely be a Seven.
