    Tan lines

In my many searches on this subject I've come to find two things. The "Wear it with pride" group and the "I don't like it and have searched everywhere for an answer but when I post about it the wear it with pride group hijacks the thread" group. I mountain bike for the fitness and fun. Not for the odd tan lines that are a result of my rides. I also love going to the lake, wearing tank tops, long walks on the beach when I can make it to the coast... etc. Sunscreen works to an extent but it's a stopgap. The shorts tan is fine with me. It'd be great to have a jersey that would let the sun through but still be protective. So... what say you? Or should I expect a dude named Jack to say hi?

Obviously there is only one solution for you, nude cycling. Just be on the lookout for Backwoods Bubba though.

This is a perfect example of why you should never post when drunk. And if you don't like tan lines...ride naked. I just hope you don't live in my part of the country.

There's no question that he would be on the lookout for Backwoods Bubba.

Dental floss is the answer and you can stow it in most orifices.

Why not ride in shorter shorts and wear a tank top when cycling?

Wow.....since I am on the west coast....that would be pretty damn early in the morning to be lit.

Hhhhmmmnnn.... Drunk? No. Hyped up on too much caffeine? Why yes thank you. This is what always seems to happen with these posts. No real solution but some real comedy. I like to laugh as much as the next rider but riding naked is not the solution. I was actually looking, but could not find, a jersey that'd let the sun tanning rays through. "So... what say you? Or should I expect a dude named Jack to say hi?" <-- In the end, bad choice of words, Jack and hi = hijack. Now.... this backwoods bubba.. Seems like the kind of guy who's a close talker. Amiright?

I usually have a nice dirt tan after a ride.

I don't know about BB's social skills, I've always kept my shirt on and avoided folks of his ilk.

The only thing I'm interested in learning from this thread is how many threads about this subject are out there on the tronz.

Ride at night, it takes a lot longer to tan under moonlight UV.
