So I'm buying parts for a new bike and and I have decieded to try out a few different forks, so I was thinking why not just get another bottom race and use the same headset. However now when I look around at cane creeks site there are no spares for this headset to be found. I find that quite odd since this was their no2 headset, stainless cartridge bearings and all.

Does anyone know what parts from their newer headsets are interchangable with my s8? In the future I might need bearings and a few bottom races I guess.

I'd hate to be forced to buy another headset just to get one that I can get an extra bottom race for.

Now I know why people buy king headsets. Spares are available.

So does anyone know if they have a current model that utilize the same or at a least similar (one that will work) bottom race?

I have the 1 1/8 external cup model.
