    Should I upgrade?

After a long break from riding, I recently got a Marin hawk hill 2. Super happy with the bike, but in the month Iíve had it, I realize itís a little too small. LBS has a nice return policy so Iím going to see about exchanging it for a large, but Iíve also come to find I much prefer all mountain riding and am thinking about getting the Attack trail 7. Itíll be about $500 more out of pocket. Thoughts?

Note: Canít return bike and they only carry Marin and Fuji, so no other options.

And if I wanted to blow a ton of money, the trail 8

    Did you grow? :-)

If you can afford it, get the one that give you the most "Wow - this great!!!" feeling.
Use it, use it, use it while you still have it.

If you can afford to pay the extra cash I would go with the Attack Trial 7 as it seems to fit the riding and style you are looking for.

The 7 has the same components as the Hill 2, just different suspension. The 8 is a whole new bike. Also 2 grand more than the Hill 2 and 1500 more than the 7.

The B17 is on the sites of other dealers listed on the Marin site.
Push for more info. Contact Marin yourself or through another dealer.
Sold out(if that's it) now just means put an order in and your shop gets the bike from the next shipment.
Sometimes the best models are hard to get because it's the best model. A little wait can be worth it for the long run.

Find stock at another dealer and yours may be able to do a swap or some other accommodation.

That Attack Trail looks like a sweet bike for what you want to do.
