    selle san marco ponza

I wasn't sure where to post this.. While shopping for a new saddle i ran into a selle san marco ponza. Does anybody have any experience with this saddle. Is it comfortable? Will it handle the abuse of aggressive singletrack? Any info would be great. thx!

It's deceivingly comfortable, I have 2 one is on my road bike, it is longish though, drop the nose slightly to keep it clear of the boys (or girls) and enjoy.

It's like any other saddle, completely personal choice.

I had one on my road bike and absolutely hated it, but I have friends who have it on their road bikes and seem to like them just fine. It does seem well enough made to handle singletrack though.

I recommend riding one before buying. If you have a Cannondale dealer close by just walk in and ask to test ride a bike, I'm pretty sure the majority of their road bikes come spec'd with the Ponza.
