    Scott Scale 40

So this spring, I had to return the mtn bike I've ridden for the last two seasons to it's owner to be relegated to kid hauler. That meant it was time for me to build up my own. I decided on a Scott Scale 40. Comfort is way up compared to the borrowed steed on account of building the bike to fit me. Handling is considerably better. I haven't been on the trails until this week due to rain, schedule, etc but am looking forward to the remainder of the summer and fall. I'm totally excited with this bike and really pleased with the outcome....even my wife says the bike is "gorgeous" which is a first for her. Based on the trails around my parts (Western WI), I went with a 1x9 and am really happy with that decision. No weight weenie here, but it feels great to me and was a lot of fun to put together.

Here's the build and a shot of the bike from the trail:

    2009 Scott Scale 40 frame
    RockShox Reba w/poploc
    Syncros Gain riser bar
    SRAM X-0 shifter
    SRAM X-9 rear derailleur
    Shimano SLX crankset
    Blackspire Mono Veloce SS Chainring
    BBG Bashguard
    N-Gear Jump Stop
    Avid BB7
    Avid Speed Dial 7
BWW Pure XCR wheelset with XT hubs
    WTB WeirWolf tires
    Scott saddle

Obsidz was happy because they had just signed a contract to make a Fallout game.

But back up a bit, who is Scott Rouse? Is he an Atari person? And his statements in and of themselves dont really mean theres a game in development, even if that circumstance seems likely.

I've read this thread 3 times already and my head is spinning. Did someone drop a hit of acid in my Coke?
