    Save a few grams or have wider rims

    Just looking for opinions on what you would do, not looking for a definitive answer.

    I mostly ride cross country trails but occasionally they are a little technical. Sometimes I venture into AM territory but not that often.

    Looking at the Sun Ringle Black Flags vs the Chargers...both comp version. You can get them shipped right now from nashbar for $209

    My stock wheels are Bonty at850 so the BF's would be slightly wider but almost a lb lighter. The chargers would be more like a half lb lighter and much wider

    as a recreational cyclist have wider rims.
