Road Rage Doctor Tries for Probation!?

If this has been posted already, I apologize, but it needs repeating.

Follow the link and let the letters fly. Apparently there are others who are standing up for him saying he only should get probation.

i think he will get more than probation. he tried to hurt people on more than one occasion and hes the perfect person to make an example of... i predict 2 year sentence, out in one.

For what it's worth, I sent the DA a letter. Thanks for the tip.

I already e-mailed the DA in this case.

If that puke gets probation, we're ALL in mortal danger on the roads.

    Ditto here.

I said that this doctor is an example for the community....if he is given probation for assault with a deadly weapon (which I compared to him having taken a baseball bat to someone), than it's akin to declaring open season on cyclists and they can expect a massive increase in these types of events.

Hopefully the can get the Judge to see it that way too.

    Surprised!

Got a return e-mail from DA Stone, thanking me and promising energetic pursuit of max sentencing.

    We'll see what happens.

Loss of professional licenece and standing. He did break his primary oath - you know the part about do no harm?...
Next - some quality time with Bubba - say 5 years or so...
Half-way release with manditory anger managment and WHACK of community service - hopefully building / maintaing trails, or manning a station at a road event.

Either that or ballast for an artifical reef.

Do not forget revoking his driving privileges, even after he serves a long term in prison.

Yup, the medical license AND the driver's license have to go for him; now, it comes to what I've said elsewhere about long-term eye dilation -- reduces vision to the point where driving is a scary proposition, the perfect deterrent, IMO. Someone needs to perfect this -- industrial chemists out there, you hearing me?

Blaring message to roadies- do NOT be d-bags on public streets. You never know when some driver is going to go nuts like this guy.

(I didn't read any of the links and am not suggesting the victims did anything wrong. I have, however, seen a lot of cyclists who treat the road as theirs and theirs alone).
Now go home and get your ******* shinebox.
