Rhode gear child seat fitting help? (Please Help!)
hi all, I've picked up a rhode gear child seat off ebay. mainly as I'm not even sure my sons going to want to get in it!
So I've fitted the rack to the bike no problem. the seat slides onto the rack fine. but how does the buckle at the front of the seat attach?
theres also a 5inch rubber piece attached to the driveside back of the seat, whats this for?
any help, online fitting instructions appreciated!
many thanks!

Those seats are illegal in a lot of states and provinces. The reason is because of the fact that the weight of the seat plus child is well above the center of gravity which results in a very difficult ride. Most parents today are using a child trailer which attaches to the rear axle. Much safer and easier to ride with.
