    RBR rest stop

Perhaps we can reconvene over here for a while, where we can find bona-fide smilies ->
and a format that's easy on the eyes.

Same here. It was fine the way it was, no need to screw with it.

I don't even know who most of you people are but I'm just glad to be in a relaxing setting finally. This format isn't jumping around and making me squint.

Sangria, anyone? Here, pass this down.

What does the Red Bull Racing F1 team have to do with MTBR?

Pretty sure if we look back in the history of this site we will find similar feelings to change.

I thought the hews clashed actually but the mid-tone brought it all together in the end.

There's no need to report me. We're from RBR over at RBR. Christine invited us to her thread from over there. Since I'm into cyclocross, why not join MTBR. I even have the same handle over at RBR.

Actually wg, I thought "monzie" was a particular name, seemingly french and from what I've read in history a guy who lived in a region of france as I schooled in, Gironde. I lived in Bordeaux for several years. I wonder if it's Anatole as his first name?

Just went to RBR and my eyes started bleeding. That just turned me off from ever riding my roadbike. That and the fact that it's a hand me down that doesn't fit right.

Truth be told, I don't really remember the last time I rode a bike. I went skiing last week. I ride a bike to class. But that's only a mile away. And classes are finally over for the semester. Maybe I'll get a bit of riding in later this week, when I go to a warmer climate for a little while.
Sometimes, I question the value of my content.

You have to ride them, problem is by the time if I decide whether I want to ride a road bike, or a mountain bike, and then decide which of those bikes I want to ride, it's usually dark

So I just go get a beer.

the lack of smileys sounds like a good thing to me. Every time I see one I think of the poster as a teenage girl.

Wait- who's reporting whom?? No need!

There's a thread with ten dozen pages devoted to "furry" mtb'ers, you guys can deal with some RBRers who are often MTBers as well.

All we ask is that you share your smileys. If you don't like my roadie friends, don't come into this thread. We're just chillin', not looking for trouble.

Sadly, I have to get back to work, but will check in later in between holiday nonsense. Maybe somebody else can put up the lights in here? Mix up some punch?

Starting to remember why I went over to RBR in the first place......

Christine, we already covered it. No one was reported. Boy, you road bikers are a touchy bunch. I can see why the lack of smileys is a problem. I'm sure feelings are getting hurt all over the place over there. Perhaps this will help lighten the mood?

    Barring that, how's this?

It's there to help push those gerbils and wombats further into your anal cavity. Being a picture of your cat Erik, I would think you'd know this. Also, MTBR mascot.
