Please, MTBR, DO NOT change the VBulletin to whatever version RBR is using! RBR majorly increased its suckage when they changed, which made me stop using it, and MTBR already works perfectly fine!

I have gone back to RBR quite a few times, navigated, posted. But I hang at MTBR, so each time I go to RBR I seriously dislike the changes. These cross-comparison experiences do not reflect well for RBR and any improvements. PLEASE DO NOT ADOPT THEM HERE, LEAVE well enough alone, thanks Admins.

Wow, that new format is truly awful. 1/2 the screen space for content, 1/4 for wasted whitespace, and a 1/4 for useless ads. What a stupid, stupid setup.

When RBR first switched to the new layout, I found another thread about that here on MTBR. A helpful user here told me how to fix the vertical bar problem. Scroll all the way down to the bottom. On the left hand side of the gray bar near the bottom of the page you will see a drop-down menu. Click on the arrow and scroll to "Full Screen". That displays the page normally like most websites.

I'm guessing that the reason the page layout always defaults to the narrow view is to make it easier to view on phones and tablets.

I never noticed the ads because, well you know .

The MTBR music site has been using the new format for a bit. Lots of complaining, but some issues can be corrected by a little searching around.
