A question of aesthetics: what color accent for a black bike?

Here's a stock pic of the bike and color

It's a matte black with silverish/light gray decals. I'm gonna put a Magura Odur fork on it (taking it from my other unused Spec FSR). The remote lock-out switch on the fork is ano blue and the lock-out knob is also ano blue, so I was thinking blue accents on seat clamp, skewers, lock-on grip clamps, and maybe bashguard if I decide on a 2x9. But with the silverish decals, I'm also thinking silver accents. Blue or silver accent on a black bike?

I'd also consider red. I believe the Marura fork is going to have some red in it as well.

Already have an all-black bike with red accents :P

The Magura fork has an ano red rebound adjustment knob. It's the size of a schraeder cap, and it's located under one of the fork legs, so not enough red to start with.

I vote red. There's something about a red/black combo that I really enjoy.

That's an idea. Always thought white had limited applications. Drawback is that it doesn't come in anodized. I like shiny parts :P

White or green. Tan, white or green tires would give it a cool look.

Green. Black with a bright green looks awesome - my favorite two color combo.

I would go with red (I´m biased) but then I vote goes for blue.
White/black combo doesn´t look appealing to me IMHO.

There is not one color that doesn't go with black. So
use any color you want, and I think it will look good.

over the years i would have gone with gold , but my recent new roadbike ,giant sl1 has just red spoke nips on the shimano carbon wheels and i really like the way it looks,if i threw a couple of other alloy accents on there ,sick, go with red.

SteveZ has got it right, go with green. I have blue parts on my matte black bike, but I think green would have looked better...far too late for that though.

I'll agree with Rev Bubba and "orange".

    Why?

Ever since I've seen this in the Top Gear magazine...

my wifes bike is black with Lime green , kelly green, grass green , and some other green cables (all different greens), OURY lime green grips , and soon to have green Salsa seat clamp and skewers. Looks awsome. Orange is another good one.

i'd say that an anodized green, red, blue, or gold would look great. Nice thing about black is that it goes with almost anything- so pick your favorite color and go for it.
