A question of aesthetics: what color accent for a black bike?
Here's a stock pic of the bike and color
It's a matte black with silverish/light gray decals. I'm gonna put a Magura Odur fork on it (taking it from my other unused Spec FSR). The remote lock-out switch on the fork is ano blue and the lock-out knob is also ano blue, so I was thinking blue accents on seat clamp, skewers, lock-on grip clamps, and maybe bashguard if I decide on a 2x9. But with the silverish decals, I'm also thinking silver accents. Blue or silver accent on a black bike?
Already have an all-black bike with red accents :P
The Magura fork has an ano red rebound adjustment knob. It's the size of a schraeder cap, and it's located under one of the fork legs, so not enough red to start with.
over the years i would have gone with gold , but my recent new roadbike ,giant sl1 has just red spoke nips on the shimano carbon wheels and i really like the way it looks,if i threw a couple of other alloy accents on there ,sick, go with red.
SteveZ has got it right, go with green. I have blue parts on my matte black bike, but I think green would have looked better...far too late for that though.
