    Pack for hydration reservoir?

    First of all, greetings!

I was wondering if anyone knew of a pack that is like a Camelbak MULE, but without a bladder? I have an extra Camelbak Storm 3L reservoir that is collecting dust.
I wish Camelbak would just sell their packs without bladders as an option.

    Thanks.

I really don't know of any hydration packs that don't come with a bladder (yeah, I know, it'd be nice if they did). If your spare is brand-new, sell it as such. If it's used, then buy a MULE, swap your old bladder for the new one, then re-sell the new one for $20.

Thanks. I'll probably just end up buying a MULE and selling one of the bladders.

REI has some backpacks that have a compartment for a bladder but come without.

Perfect! It even has similar cargo capacity to a MULE. Thanks Nat.

    Ergon

Their packs come without bladders, and as a bonus, may just be the best pack ever produced for cycling.

Wingnut packs come without the bladders and get good reviews from those that have them (I've not tried one). I think some of their packs might be designed for more odd sized bladders though (square maybe?).

That's actually a really nice backpack. Thanks for the link.

Deuters also come without the bladder. But they tend to be a little pricier than what I suspect the OP is looking for.
Since when did the phrase "invest in" come to mean the same as "buy"?

What is wrong with having a spare bladder? Takes up too much space? I have 4 or 5 I think, and at times I have 3 in use.
