    New to MTBR

Hey folks! It's been a long layoff but I'm back on the bicycle again. After racing motorcycle XC and playing on mountain bikes for most of my life I took time off to have a bunch of little ones. Now that my oldest, 9 yoa, has shown an interest in mountain biking (We did the BMX thing for a while.) we're riding trails together. I dusted off my old Klein and Big D (my son) is riding an old dirt jumper of mine. So far so good. We've been riding River Legacy in the Fort Worth/Arlington Area. Trails are fun and Dan has no problem negotiating the hills. Plus, it's a nice trail to ease back into the sport on. Bike handling skills are still there but the legs are not. So things are coming full circle and I am introducing the sport to my son. Life is good. Look forward to some good discussions.
