New (to me) Easton CT2 carbon seatpost.

Ordered it from ebay for only $35.00. It came yesterday after a painful 12 day waitinging period. I hate u.s.p.s. Anyway, it's a real nice post compared to the cheapy Kalin that came stock on my roadie ss. If it rides well I may switch it to the Mongoose mtb. I've read on a road forum about CF reacting to aluminum. Any truth to this? I want to make sure it won't cause any problesm with my Mongoose.

Here it is, temporarily mounted on the roadie.

    No truth at all!

Not a bad idea to use a carbon assembly compound though like tacx.

    Nice post enjoy it.
