    Marzocchi 22 RLO (travel 120mm)

    Im about to replace my ol' dirt jumper, but i cant be picky considering my actual financial status.
    Ive decided to go for Marzocchi 22 RLO travel 120mm even if i might be pushing this marzo 22 a bit over the limits:
    - a 203mm disc brake;
    - style or riding: on Marzo DJ - everything/anywhere - all mountain (freeridish).
    I know ill have to pace myself when riding 22 (obvioulsy) and i know ill be drooling all over the freeridish trails. Now, my question is how long will i be able to ride this 22 ? Will the 203mm rotor kill the fork?

    frame Specialized Rockhopper, weight 155lbs.

    EDIT
    RockShox Dart 3 or Marzocchi 22 RLO ?

    Freeride with less then 150mm won't hold up very well... 203mm rotor idk, but you will just blow out through the full travel when freeriding... I have a 150mm Marchozzi air, I'm 110lbs and I can easely blow out the travel on it while freeriding (with good preload and SAG, off course) and I ahve a Dart 2 80mm on my trail bike, which I also blow out the travel when doing light AM, good XC, so 120mm of travel won't get you anywhere close to what you want...

    Check chainlove.com, they had a few Marchozzi forks on sale more then 60% off today... a 55 Ti r and a 66 Ti RC3, the 66 was only $560 (over $1 000 new)... Just wait and you could get a great deal...

    And you should get a fork that is the right spec for your frame... and 203mm rotor are usually for bigger stuff then 120mm fork would be design to handle...
