    Loctite ?

Should I be using this on bottle cage and frame pump bolts?

No, grease is fine. Loctite would be OK but is too expensive for that application.

If they stay snug grease is fine, unless one or the other is titanium then you need to use anti-seize. If they keep coming loose I wouldn't hesitate to put a little bit of 242 on them.

242 is the blue thread locker. Bolts can be removed with simple hand tools.

262 is the red loctite and is permanent. You often need to heat the parts to get them apart again. A lot of heat is usually required. The product sheet says 482 degrees F to break it down. I never use it on small fasteners, but on bigger bolts, like over 3/8" an impact wrench will usually remove them. Many times I do have to take the torch to them though.

243 is the latest medium, strength formula, works better on aluminum and plated parts...

Not nearly as runny as the old 242 product too!
