Could possibly be a Ti frame? It's an XC mtb. Throw a new tube on the rear wheel for starters. May need some general maint. for the brakes and shifters/drivetrain.

It's definitely a titanium frame. Odd mix of parts though - I think I see XTR V brakes but what looks like a LX front derailleur and a kickstand??? Looks like someone threw a bike together with leftover parts (and a really good frame).

For the OP's general information - Litespeed used to be one of the top titanium frame makers in business. If your Pisgah is a Lynskey era frame it's a real treasure.

If this is your first MTB it will be fine. It's hard to tell the exact condition of the bike from those 2 pictures. If you are happy with the purchase, then that is what counts.

Yup, it's a Ti frame. Ritchey Headset.

It's not a bad bike. Especially since your step-dad gave it to you. Can't beat the price.

I wouldn't worry about value. Just get it running and hit the trails. Get rid of the kick-stand first though

The top picture is a description of the frame's tubing - 3% Aluminum (Al), 2.5% Vanadium (V), and the base metal Titanium (Ti).

The bottom picture is of Litespeed's old style headtube badge. New style -
