    ligheweight body protection

Let me start off by saying I understand that none of these options offer the same amount of protection as a full on pressure suit with hardshell protection.

So for the past two years I've been wearing a 661 subgear shirt along with shoulder pads and kneed pads. I feel like this should cover me in most of the riding that I do.

After 2 years of riding in the subgear though, its time to find a replacement. There seems to be a couple options out there. Race Face has the Flank Core that has d3o shoulders and removeable back. Alpinstars has the comp pro top for bns that also has a removable back.

Does anyone have experience with either of these?

I'm also interested in the g-form compression shirt as this seemingly will match the protection I had before. I do like the idea of the removable back so I can leave it off for most days and put it on whenever I go downhilling.

I use the g-form knee and elbow pads and like them. Light, breathable, and good protection. I have not seen the shirt.
