    Lezyne hand pump question?

Looking to purchase a Lezyne had pump to carry in my back pack when riding my FS 29er.

Not sure what pump is better suited for my needs, the hv or hp model? I appears the hp is a slightly better pump but not really clear as to the differences between the two models.

    Thanks

They make equivalent levels of their pumps in both HV and HP. HV is High Volume and HP is high pressure. The high pressure pumps are for road bike tires while the HV is geared towards higher volume, lower pressure tires. I'd go for the HV for your intended use. Also, the HP will take longer to fill an mtb tire since it designed to force smaller amounts of air into a smaller space and reach much higher pressures.

    Re: Lezyne hand pump question?

I know of weight concerned dudes running the carbon fiber HP on their rigs, but I'd recommend the HV. I love mine and it doesn't really weigh me down.
