    Lake MX140

Anybody have a pair of these? Nashbar has them on sale for $130. Do they work well for winter riding and how have they held up? Thinking about getting a pair for next winter.

Big Lake fan, but I have the MXZ302 etc, etc..

Just wanted to say my Gfriend loves them too, and after 4 years the Boa cinch line finally snapped. Bummed cuz the weather still bleak, she just assumed she had to buy a replacement system and go through the hassle. I told her just talk to Lake regarding failure first. So she looked up their site, found they are warrantied, and had replacements in 4 days.
Since your model uses Boa (as mine) it is nice to know they are backed up.

I like mine. Not as insulated as the 302 but they are MUCH lighter and less bulky. Plenty of room of socks. Very comfortable. Durability is not great if you use they for rocky hike-a-bike rides. the upper can tear.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
