Knee/Shin guard recommendations?
Hi all,
I need some suggestions for some new Knee/Shin guards.
I have Fox Titans but they slip at the very moment I need them.
I am considering the Launch model.
What are some good secure guards?
Thanks and Happy Holidays!!

For knee pads it's hard to beat Kyle Strait's from six six one. For the days I want more protection I have a pair of Alpinestars Moab.

I have and like the 661 4X4s. They wrap your entire leg, so they provide some winter warmth, and they protect you if you ride flat pedals that tend to inflict damage on your calves. The downside is that they wrap your entire leg, so provide lots of warmth in summer too....

What kind of riding are these to be used for? Straight on DH? If so than you can ignore me
BUT, for trail riding and AM type stuff, I just got a set of G-Form pads and they are pretty awesome so far. INCREDIBLY light, and comfortable . . . I forgot I was wearing them after about 5 minutes. These will work great for the stuff I ride (technical AM, fast, flowing trails) but I wouldn't rock them at the bike park.

I wound up buying Fox Launch Pro knee/shin guards. They have weird sizes. They have L/XL and S/M. Initially I got an L/XL but they seemed to slip a bit. Then I got the S/M and they seemed to not have as much padding but held more firmly. So I was able to return the L/XL since I bought them from Jenson. I will test them this wkend.
I ride AM and general MTB.
Sorry for the late response.

Good choice on the Fox Launch, I have had them for a few months now and I really like them, very comfortable and they don't get too warm.
Full disclosure: These are the only pads that I've tried, but I know they work great for me.

A bit late I know, but I love my 661 Kyle Strait's.
Comfy and stay put (on my pegs anyway...)
