    Knee pain !

This sucks , all of a sudden I start getting knee pain towards the lower front and outside of the knee while I'm riding . At first it was after about 5 miles and a long climb . Now it starts much sooner , but no pain while walking . Yes age might be a factor , 40 yrs 210lb , I ride a yeti Sb66c , 1x11 , 32 up front , clipped in , if this helps a lil . No major impact on the knee , plus I always wear knees . Any help or ideas would be great and I know you guys are full of them 😜 thx

Seat height change ever so slightly?
    Check your fit first.
I had the same type of pain. I raised seat post 3-4 mm and helped substantially.

This is a common query ("He said 'query', henh henh).

Try Googling 'MTBR knee pain' and you'll find some existing threads.

    Knee pain !

Interesting , possibility on the seating issue , it's funny that before the knee pain , my seat and ass was bugging me , and now my seat is flat , meaning the sides are blown out and I need a new one .

I will recheck fitment and google mtbr knee pain .

Also check cleat alignment a common culprit to outside pain.......They should be adjusted to your natural gate.
My right foot is pigeon toed therefor my cleat is turned in. Make sense ?

    As a rule:

Pain behind the knee = seat to high
Pain in front = seat to low
    Other variables to consider though
