Kenda 8 blocks for White rim trail??

Anyone know if the Kenda 8 block 2.1 will work on the White rim trail??? I plan on making it a one day event this april and need all the help I can get from a tire. So I want to go with the best rolling high volume tire but worried the 8 block is not enough tire for the trail.

Yes, it should be durable enough with firm pressures. There's almost no cornering on the ride so a good cornering tire wouldn't help. And climbing is not very steep anywhere, except there's one longer loose rocky climb about half way where better gravelly rocky grip with deeper more spaced knobs would help too, but overall for a one-day White Rim the easy rolling would be more efficient.

You need to be worried about the sand as well. I'd go with something a little knobier. Schwalbe Racing Ralphs or Rocket Rons have both worked well for me on the White Rim.
