    Seconding the beer suggestion.

I usually head out before my wife and daughter are up so after riding I'll see what my daughter's up to and if she needs anything besides a hug and hi from dad.
We live right by the beach and my wife is usually there so I'll meet her and go for a swim.

Was not the ride itself, a source of satisfaction? The ride followed by a beer or three with friends a bit of a plus.

I usually follow up a good ride with a shower. Mrs5150 prefers I do that at some point before bedtime. I am good with that.

Family ride = family meal afterwards.
Club ride = food and beer/conversing over local club business and other random BS.
Solo Ride = usually food and beer after I get home.

I love drinking beer but I do most of my riding in the morning.

Any ride shorter then 1.15 I do nothing special.

Any ride longer then 1.30 I usually make some chocolate milk.

For some reason I always crave a Blizzard from Dairy Queen! I figured I burned about 1000 calories riding so I can afford it!!

My rides usually involve meeting a group at a bar, riding 15-20 miles on paths and trails, and returning to the bar for card games and an irresponsible amount of adult beverages. Haha.

How do you chill/relax after a ride?

One of my favorite ways can only happen on Saturdays. Get up early and put a good ride in, then get back in time for College GameDay to start, spend the rest of the day watching college football with multiple beers.

AM rides I'm getting back just after the family sits down for breakfast so I join them and show pics or video if I took any. PM rides my oldest boy (7) loves to hear if I saw any wildlife coyotes, deer, owls, bats etc. If alome I like going over my map my ride details.

Clean the bike. Often with a beer close at hand. For some reason I find bike maintenance oddly relaxing and therapeutic.

Food and jacuzzi when I get home. Occasionally make the In-N-Out stop on the way.
