    Seconding the beer suggestion.

I usually head out before my wife and daughter are up so after riding I'll see what my daughter's up to and if she needs anything besides a hug and hi from dad.
We live right by the beach and my wife is usually there so I'll meet her and go for a swim.

Was not the ride itself, a source of satisfaction? The ride followed by a beer or three with friends a bit of a plus.

I usually follow up a good ride with a shower. Mrs5150 prefers I do that at some point before bedtime. I am good with that.

Family ride = family meal afterwards.
Club ride = food and beer/conversing over local club business and other random BS.
Solo Ride = usually food and beer after I get home.

I love drinking beer but I do most of my riding in the morning.

Any ride shorter then 1.15 I do nothing special.

Any ride longer then 1.30 I usually make some chocolate milk.

My rides usually involve meeting a group at a bar, riding 15-20 miles on paths and trails, and returning to the bar for card games and an irresponsible amount of adult beverages. Haha.

How do you chill/relax after a ride?

One of my favorite ways can only happen on Saturdays. Get up early and put a good ride in, then get back in time for College GameDay to start, spend the rest of the day watching college football with multiple beers.

Clean the bike. Often with a beer close at hand. For some reason I find bike maintenance oddly relaxing and therapeutic.

I stuff my face with whatever's in the fridge and lounge on the couch and watch tv.
If there's nothing good on I'll thumb through one of my copies of 'Attractive Woman' magazine.

I eat a meal a drink cold fluids right afterward.

Then a nice shower to top it all off when I get home.

Follows by washing bike, go to gym, back home and help to do house cleaning, wash all my muddy clothes then have a good shower take my 2 babys out for lunch (my wife n daughter) and enjoy the family time or activity for the rest of the day and looking forward for sunday to repeat !

Beer while cleaning the fork and rear shock, and checking over the cassette for twigs and stuff. Then more beer.

A small 30 minute cigar and something non-alcoholic, since the trail I usually ride is on city park land and prohibits alcohol. Also, I ride in the mornings, so beer before noon isn't my usual MO.

MTBR lurking. It's hard to come down from an MTB high just because the ride is over.

Usually riding with my brother and we end up back at his house in the garage basking in the biker dirt tan, drinking a beer and checking Strava stats. At the same time I am doing some stretching and foam rolling to ease my muscles and hopefully prevent issue. Throw in a whey shake on the larger days or when I remember to pack it.

When time permits I will generally do an after ride bike maintenance routine to keep everything super dialed. As mentioned above therapeutic and gets the bike ride ready for the next adventure.

Go home, drink coffee, wake the kids up and get them ready for daycare, take them to daycare and then go to work. All my riding is early am...

Lot about that is me during the school year. Clean up the house and do the chores, get my boys out of bed, walk the dogs with my lovely lady, make some dinner, get ready for another ride in the morning and lavish all day about that morning stoke and what it will be like tomorrow. All the while chugging a few cold ones while I mow the lawn.
