Hmm.. Got a deal on a never used 05 trek liquid 55 today

Now what lol.. Just the frame and a fox float. I'm trying to figure out the seat post size so I can order one. Anyone how where to look? I googled and only found a pdf of a product catalog.

Wouldn't it have been easier just to post the size?

    31.6mm

The clamp if you need one is 36.4mm
Just stick it in granny and start grinding.

Surely the purpose was to make OP at least do some of the work. Some guys just want others to do all the work. Not saying this was the case, but it's typical.

Also, OP, terrible title. Why not label your title.."Need Trek seatpost size info"? Clearly that was the main intention. You could have bragged about the deal within the thread. Backwards man, backwards....

Nice find tho...never used that is. Was it a warranty frame?

I agree, but I don't think this was the case here as he said he looked.
So posting the page like that comes across as a little smug. Not trying to say that is how the poster was trying to be.

Although he did even go through the trouble to actually delete the answer in his copy and past...so I am guessing it was.

I did find that pdf already, before posting the thread. Though, I'm on an Android phone and when searching the pdf the only reference to the bike came at page 200 something and listed the geometry and parts list, but no seat post size. Smug or not, thanks for the help, I wasn't finding it in there I already looked and missed it for whatever reason.
