    Highball bike question

    3x10 is a good set up for this.bike or a 2x10?

    I prefer 2x10 out of the two choices. with a 3x10 setup you get a lot of redundant gears, but it is really personal preference. I tend to go more with a 1x10 system (I don't have a lot of use for the smaller ring).

    2x10, 26-38 is what I like on this bike. 24-38 on the tbltc

    Its not the bike.....its the motor.

    If you can push a 2x10 then go for it. If you currently spent a lot of time in 22/34t in a 9 speed, then a double may not be for you.

    But since you included soooooo much info, we can only guess.

    Agree re motor, but this is a really light hard tail and double should work for most

    Personally, get the Al frame and run it as a SS.
