    Functional whole body training for mountain bikers (video)

    I use TRX training to train my core to keep in tip top shape for when I am on the bike. Have a look at this video outlining TRX functional training and how it relates to riding.

    Core Synergistics from the P90X series is pretty good for the "mid thigh to mid chest" region.

    Most typical muscle group exercises are all pretty straight forward. Core workouts though are all over the place as they are designed specifically to be cross functional.

    So not your quads/hammies, not your lats, not your abs, but all of the connective tissue in between.

    ...but then obviously has some stuff specifically at the legs, abs, upper body, back, etc.
