    New question here. Freewheel Lubrication

My freewheel is very loud and when I push the bike, the pedals move forward. Can I lube it with parktool chain lube?

You will likely get lube in the hub bearings that way, which will make it worse.

Freewheels are fairly uncommon on bicycles these days. Look that up and make sure that's what you really have.

I assumed you were talking about a multi-speed freewheel, my mistake.

remove the freewheel first, then lube. you don't want oil washing the grease out of your hub bearings, unless you want to replace those next.

freewheels are pretty cheap, so it might be time to just replace it.
