First "HOLY CRAP, OMG I GOT LUCKY" moment.

Ok first thing i have to say is the guys that came up with home brew sealant, glad i went that route and I LOVE U GUYS for putting the time in.

Being new with tubeless I've been playing with air pressures. Never get too low but.....

Wasn't going terribly fast in a real tight twisty section and getting used to riding 20mm shorter stem first time. Got a little too wide and got into the loose crap off camber on the edge of the trail.

Not a first time for me but what happened next was new and scared the **** outta me. During corresponding slide from front tire washing out it a cluster of sticks....

And POP!!!! Tires completely unseated on one side from the bead. Bunch of wet dirt and crap right into the wheel bead and all over the tire bead!!!!

Wasn't 5 mins into my ride.

Figured my ride was done. I left home in a hurry no tube, no pump and 45mins away.

Then remembered my co2s and chuck. Never used the thing. But threaded co2s and knob type valve. Planet Bike thing I bought last summer. Worth a shot though I held no hopes.

Wiped off the bead and rim best I could but was still a mess. Mounted the co2 and opened it wide open, tire aired up, bead popped on. Used my second one to get the pressure up, spun the tire and went for it.

Made the top of the first long ass climb and stopped for a drink, and tire was getting a bit lower than I was liking. Thankfully the guy I met at trailhead that decided to ride with me had a pump in his pack. Was able to finish entire ride though was a bit soft by the end of the long decent back to the car.

Thnx to a good home brew, some luck on my co2s and an awesome guy from out of town, a scare that caused me to almost piss myself turned into a great ride.

My first Holy crap I got lucky moment was when I was 17. It involved a girl named Denise, a six pack of beer and the back seat of a Ford LTD station wagon.

Had one if those must have been her sister, her name was Jenni. Or was it Rebecca, crap I forget. Back if a Ford Escort.

On topic briefly lol, cleaned the tire and wheel last night took forever to clean the tire bead lol, refilled and mounted right up. Rode the hell outta it today (set a new personal best) no air loss all good.

Damn leg still hurts from the tt deciding to bash my thigh when the tire came off though, was limping like a peg-leg when I got home today. Couldn't use the third leg to help, my kids are around.

I think we all wish we were "out there" instead of "in here."
