Fat Tire Bikes
Who owns a 'fat tire bike'? Who makes these or is it just a switch out of tires?
These days it's more like who doesn't make a fat bike. Surly, salsa 907, trek, specialized, on one, fatback... The list is endless.
You can't just switch tires in your standard frame mt bike. No room for fatness.

I have a Surly Pugsley Necromancer from 2012. I put on a lefty front shock but other than that, pretty bone stock. Good time every time I ride, I just raced it last weekend in a state event and got 2nd. So not bad...I wasn't last like I thought I might be!
Got any specific ?, check out the fat bike forum on here. Plenty of us have different brands and setups. Yeah, you gotta have a special frame or fork to clear the rims & tires. Plus the BBs on these bikes need to be wider(Q factor) for chain clearance vs the tire, and no crank arm rub on the frame.
