    Does this look like a zero stack?

    I want to put a tapered fork into my 1 1/8 head tube with the ec 40/44 bottom cup, but I know you need a zero stack head tube. So does this look like one?

    The prefixes are EC = External cup, and ZS = Zero stack. (edit: And IS, integrated)

    Too bad, seems like it's a lot easier to find a deal on a good fork with a tapered steerer than a straight one...

    Looks like the bottom cup for an S3 headset. Excuse the stupid question, you do have a tapered head tube right?

    No I wish, mentioned above it's really easy to find deals on tapered forks but unfortunately I have a straight 1 1/8 steerer

    Yup, and it's crap sellers are doing that. I've seen a few adds on ebay for the same fork, straight steerer is 50 more.... for what? Farkin Bull donkey piss.
