    cycleops

so, found some cycleops posted on our local craiglist that are decent and running between 100-190 bucks.

am thinking with winter soon coming, id be able to hook up my bike so i can do spin/cardio exercises.

    is my thinking right?

Yeah but you will want to get a smooth tire for the back - the noise will drive you apeshit pretty quickly.

get a roller/trainer specific tire, they eat regular tires.

while trainer specific tires are best, if you dont want to spend the money for one you can always pick up on of the cheapo nashbar tires or something which will get you through the winter. I find trainers dont eat tires as fast as everyone lets on...
