    Customer Service......

LBS's still win over online retailers.

    $120 wasted.

    Lesson learned.

Oh, and don't waste your hard earned beans on Continental Trail King tires. The sidewalls rip easier than an envelope full of money and a knife in your hand.

Hmmm, reviews on this site are mostly positive.

Better get crackin' & write your own.

Actually, I'm speaking about Price Point.com

I've purchased a ton of product through them, and the one time I need them over a warranty issue they just say "tough ****".

At least my LBS is always there if a warranty issue arrises.

I'm just saying watch out for online retailers. They truly don't give a **** about their customers.

Did you really expect a warranty replacement for a ripped sidewall?
Take it up with Continental maybe?

No no. Not ripped as in "I trashed the tires"

Ripped as in, the actual material was coming apart. It looked like a wool blanket that'd been put through a washing machine and messed up. The actual fibers were coming apart, not my tire met rocks ripped.

    Sorry for the confusion.

It just irks me that they wouldn't even work with me on the issue in any way.

good and bad cs stories all over the place- i've been to many brick and mortar stores that were horrible cs-wise. did pp give a reason? what did they say? i've always had good experience with them.

hopefully conti can do something for you.

    good luck! keep us posted.
