cross post--helmet mounted lighting system

looking for a helmet mounted system using a rechargeable battery small enough to stuff in a jersey pocket if possible and under $100.

i'm not well versed on the latest and greatest systems so i thought i'd ask here.

Check out the light tests in the review section. I have Nightrider MiNewt 600 that is what you are looking for ,not sure what they cost these days.

I have this one for my helmet: Niterider – Technical Lighting Systems » MiNewt.600 Cordless – NEW I got it on sale at either Nashbar or Jenson, though I can't remember which. You can almost always find them on sale.

Battery is part of the light so you don't need to run a cord anywhere. I find it to be plenty bright... but then again, I'm slow. The NiteRider people support a 24 hour race up here in the summer and I've found them to be great to deal with as well.
