    Cateye Enduro 8??????

Just bought one of these for my bike and I want to know if I can install it on the rear tire rather then the front. Are there any benefits to one or the other? The instructions really do not say much about where to mount it. Will it work on the rear as good as the front?

Technically I don't think it would matter which wheel you use. Practically, I think running the cable from the sensor set up on a rear wheel to the mounting bracket on the bar or stem is going to be problematic.

It will work OK as long as the wire is long enough, which I doubt.

Like Wombat, I definitely don't think the wire is long enough unless you ride a tiny frame. I have one of these and it works great. Enjoy!
