Bottom Bracket question NEED HELP! Scott Spark 10 2011
So here is the problem: I have a 2011 Scott Spark 10 carbon and I want to fit a Sram XX crankset BB30 175mm.
This frame has a BB92 'PF30 integrated Required' and has currently installed a GXP BB92 PressFit Stainless Steel Bottom Bracket MTB - like this one: SRAM Truvativ GXP BB92 PressFit Stainless Steel Bottom Bracket MTB | eBay
I don't know much about BB's and I have been digging the internet for the right BB, but still not sure what to do. So my questions are:
- Can I just replace the bearings? like this one: Press Fit 30 Bottom Bracket Bearings SRAM Truvativ FSA New Steel ABEC | eBay
- Is this what I need? SRAM Truvativ PF30 Press Fit BB30 Bottom Bracket | eBay
- What Is the lightest solution for this? any other brand 'lighter'?
Any help will be much appreciated!
Looks like you can't do it. A GXP style crank can be adapted but not a BB30.
Yep, I didn't know about the two versions of this frame, mine is the BB92, but they also made with PF30..I tough they were the same.

Actually there is a solution:
Rotor Bike Components
Thanks to a user at weightweenies.
Enduro has a similar setup but have a note that it requires an extra long spindle like the Rotor crankset. I took that to imply that a normal BB30 wouldn't work.
