I'm building out a Gunnar Ruffian single speed and not sure about the length of a spindle. I've got an FSA ISIS BB that is 107mm and the cranks touch the frame. Not sure if 113mm is wide enough or if I should go with 118mm. Any suggestions?
Another question...I've found BB listed for both road and mountain bikes. Does it really matter just as long as you have the diameter correct? I assume a mountain bike might be more durable?
