    Black water bottle cage bolts?

Recently misplaced my black water bottle cage bolts. Anyone know where I can get some replacements that aren't going to cost me $15?? The places I've seen that carry them online have ridiculous prices. $15 for 2 bolts?! Give me a break. I'd buy them from an auto parts or home improvement store if I could find some that have a rounded top.

    I believe the common size is 5mm x .08 x 12 or so correct?

Appreciate it, but shipping to the US (obviously you wouldn't know that) still puts it at about $15 for 2 bolts. Hell for these prices I'll just paint the tops of some extra stainless ones I have laying around!

Try disk rotor bolts. Low profile even.

yep, m5 x 0.8mm, you should be able to eyeball the length. 12mm is fine, 30mm is probably fine. 5mm is too short, 100mm probably too long.

bike shops will often have extras laying around from fender installs, etc. unless you're worried about heavy steel ones and demand aluminum, but weight weenies are typically prepared to spend some $.

You could walk up to somebody unlocking or locking up their bike in public and offer them $2 for the screws in their frame that they aren't using anyways.
