    Bike Registry 529 Garage

I just heard of the "Bike Garage Project 529" in a podcast and signed up. The idea is to register the bike (with pictures etc.) and also attach a sticker.
there isn't a national police database or so, so that is some sort grassroot idea to register bikes. it also has a mobile app. It is free (they said they have law enforcement agencies pay a small subscription).

I registered my bikes and the more people use it the more useful it will be.

We have all our bikes registered with it as well. However, the local (Calgary) police department has not signed up yet, but I know some police forces in other Canadian cities such as Vancouver and Edmonton are working with it.
