    Amen !
It appears you've got a handle on that.
As to htfu, I think if the curmudgeons / elitists did such a thing, the entertainment value (humor) weaving through these would diminish.

    Case in point;

Lol. Participating in these forums and most forums in general is like watching reality TV. You want to see someone excel tremendously, or fail miserably. Personally I find value in rehashing old topics even if they've been "beaten to death" (to an extent, of course), because new information arises and new opinions form... New people join the forums with different perspectives and it all makes for good conversation. My piece of advice to the OP, weave through the bs and read only the posts that address your question. Pretty much everyone hating on you had posted something that got them flamed. Personally, I'm interested to see how this thread develops because I often think of picking up some sort of noise maker myself.

well, for one thing you left out "grow a sense of humor and play along". for another, the curmudgeons/elitists doing all of the above is what you were crying about.

now then... follow suit, put on your big boy pants, and strap a bell to your bike if'n ya wanna!

    TwoNin9r-

    All good points.
I experience the same in being able to pick up a few new things along the way.
I suppose if I read the same paragraph over and over, or cemented a subject in my head to a fossilized state.... I'd be a little spun up myself.
Choosing what I read or follow in terms of value is a glass half-full sorta thing.

Ridiculous for a Monday to say the least !!

Think he's got a sense of humor and is playing along just fine.
For someone who's so smart shouldn't you know that a thread like this doesn't need any help to turn into a pile of sh!t? Or does that not matter in your quest to find humor and more rep.

Bachman, I find in the real world mtbers are pretty cool and not that ^ judgmental, compared to the road riders elitist crap you'll find more often, or typewritter toughguys that need an ego boost.
I see in you something about being an open minded adult with a sense of humor and confidence keeps you humble and civil. Cool beans for not letting bs rattle you

The humor and entertainment value is what makes it gold and although I stated that, stating the obvious will just get me in trouble again. I'm not falling for these tricks. lol

The part I was crying about (still am) you summed up very well.

You can add me to the list of people with multiple bikes that have incredibells and isn't aware of a better bell option. I'd be interested in hearing what other people might consider a better bell for trail riding.

have run them for years, but never had that problem. how do you position it? i run mine rotated 90 degrees so the dinger is pointing straight down and i can easily hit it with my thumb while holding the grip.
