With the help of all the people on the forum I finally purchased my first real mountain bike this season. Brand new Trek Superfly AL. The bike has exceeded all my expectations however after a few months and maybe 7 good trail days, I noticed the front hub has started to make this odd clicking noise that I have never heard before shown here:
-The bearings have zero play in them
-I ONLY hear this noise after 45min+ riding. It never ever does it when I first start riding.
-Bike maybe has 100-200km on it max.
-spokes are all tight and wheel is still 100% true
- Nothing is stuck in the brake and it plays no role in the sound.
**Sorry for the portrait video..I was trying to ride and hold my phone at speed.
I am stumped and was hoping for some input from others. My next step is to crack the front hub and take a look inside but the bike should definitely not need this yet.
