    Anybody ever herd of sgbikedirect.com?? Are they legit?

    Hi Yall,

    I found a bike I want a buy on this site based out of Singapore called sgbikedirect.com. Has anyone here bought stuff from them?

    They sell Specialized, Giant, Cannondale........online. Enough said.


    Just noticed they have Motobecane listed as well......yeah right.

    I figured there was something really fishy about this site but at the same time most of the bikes made in North America are made in Asia anyways.

    Ill keep saving money for a site thats based on reality

    REALLY, who in their right mind would buy a bike from an online shop in singapore, or for that matter even ask if its not a scam, theres one born every day isnt there......

    I don't think Specialized allows online sales of their bikes.

    Bank transfer only!

    Even though their site looks more legit than other I have seen, I certainly would not risk it. Zero recourse if they do not ship your product after your bank does the transfer.

    Don't risk it!

    Thanks, the bank transfer proves that it can't be legit. If it was legit, they would let you use a credit card. Credit Card companies won't give access to fraudulent companies.
