    605mm handlebars too narrow?

Think 605 is too narrow on a 29er?

It's all personal prefernce and there are more factors that go into bike handeling than just handlebar bar width.

I'm running 785mms on my trail bike and I absolutely love it. For how and where I ride it works great. On my previous mtb (now transportation bike) I ran 580mm bars and that seemed to be fine but now that bike has 685mm bars since the 580mm bars felt really twitchy after getting used to the 785s.

    Support the handlebar manufacturers.

605 is too narrow. 750 minimum. At least until they stop selling wide, and switch back to narrow for more sales.

As others said, it is a personal preference.
