    Warranty Questions

So I just got a Gary Fisher Advance Disc about a week ago(my first real bike that's not from walmart). I've taken it out 3 times for a total of 12 miles and the paint it rubbed down to the frame already in 3 places where the cables hit the frame. Is this a warranty issue? I feel like 3 rides is too soon for this to happen. I understand normal wear and tear, but this seems like too much wear for the amount of use.

Its normal, its called cable rub. The paint isn't very thick. You can get stick on frame protector patches.
Worked at Trek/Fisher dealer 2008-2013. Only a little biased.

Yeah, it happens, but through the paint that quick? Are we now saving frame weight in the paint booth as well?
