    Sugar - standard crank fit?

I have a 02 Sugar 2 that has a compact crank 22-34-42 but I want to swap to a standard 24-36-44, is this a no go?

That should be fine assuming there is clearance between the chainstay and rings. If not you could use a wider BB spindle to gain clearance.

That's the big question, the distance from the two small rings to the swing arm is close and I don't want to push the rings out as the chainline would be off.

Ha! I just test drove a new Santa Cruz carbon highball and it had nothing over my sugar on tight single track and it felt like I was driving a bus. For the trails I ride I like the quickness of the Sugar and my Steel stumpy.
