    SF100 tires

My GF Superfly 100 came with Kenda Tomac Small Block 8 , they are fast but on wet technical trails they dont seem to work that well.

The guy at the store here offered me Maxxis Ignitors , will that be an improvement?

Should I use the Maxxis on the front and keep the Kenda Small block 8 on the rear or vicevera ?

    any suggestions?

I still want a light fast rolling tire but that grabs better on wet and muddy tech rides.

Ignitors are actually decent. Good volume and roll pretty good. I raced them all year. The front could hold a line a bit better though.

Mine came with the Team XR1's - moved those to the HT Fly, where they are great, and put on 29-3 2.3 front, XDX 2.1 rear. SF100 benefits from the bigger rubber on the stuff I ride it on. Going to check out the 29-2 that the new Trek SF100's are equipped with out back.

Had Ignitors on a 26" Kona Dawg for a couple rides before I put WTB Mutano Raptors on it.
Seemed ok but I had the other tires already and was used to them.
