    Seatpost Clamp Size

For the first time in my life I am thinking about buying an aftermarket seat-post clamp, but I don't know how to determine the size I need. I have a set of calipers, so measuring isn't the problem, I just don't know what to measure. Inside or outside diameter of the seat tube on the frame? I'm thinking outside, but do I take this measurement with no seatpost or seatpost clamp on the frame? Or, put the seatpost in the tube and clamp it down tight, then take the measurement? My bike is a Paragon and the wife's is a Tarpon.

Check the old clamp. Bontrager stamps the size on the underside of most...
