    roscoe with hifi parts

anyone ridden a roscoe built up with hifi parts. My 2009 hifi deluxe broke (actually everyone i know who has ever owned a hifi has broken their chainstay, i was the last one who hadn't yet) and trek only has roscoes.

does it work with a 120mm fork?

When I got a warranty replacement for my HiFi and moved to the Roscoe, I put in the cash to also get the frame to come with the appropriate fork. I was sick of the sticky Manipoo anyway. My suggestion would be to do the same. The TALAS is appreciated as most of the time I prefer the bike in 140mm mode, and go right to 100mm for steep climbs. I can't remember ever sitting in the middle at 120mm.

The one thing to remember is that the new fork would come with 15QR, not 9mm. That might be the deal breaker if you can't convert your front wheel or aren't willing to get a new set. Mine were conveniently convertible.
