No size sticker....is there another way to determine the frame size?

I am looking at a Gary Fisher Wahoo a customer of mine is selling. The bike is actually for a friend of mine but I didn't see a sticker on the frame with the size.

Is there a simple way to tell?
Is it possibly coded in the serial number?

Measure from center of crank to top of seat tube for the seat tube size.
